San Luis Obispo County's water resources are limited and we all need to do our part meeting the current and future water needs of residential, commercial and agricultural uses. With water conservation in mind, there is a need for waterwise, drought-tolerant landscaping in SLO County. Please review the beautiful example landscapes shown on this website and know that water intensive turf can play a role in the landscape, but should not be the focal point.
